Rules and Regulations

  • • Every student is expected to be present for the daily assembly.
    • Students must be clean and appear in full school uniform. Students without proper uniform will not be allowed into the class room.
    • Accessories worn with the uniform must be in red.
    • Handkerchief must be pinned up if the child has a cold.
    • The boys should come to school with their hair trimmed.
    • For the girls, shoulder length hair or long to be neatly tied up in plaits or pony tails with red bands.
    • Shoes must be neatly polished.
    • Socks must be replaced once it loses its elasticity.
    • Children are not permitted to used nail polish and flowers.
    • Finger nails must be clipped once in a weak and the child will be checked any day.
    • All assignments shall be regularly completed and submitted as decided by the teacher.
    • Any laxity in completion of home assignments will be viewed seriously.
    • Students should keep their note books and text books covered with brown papers throughout the year.
    • Students are expected to take due care of the property. Any damage done willfully or accidently has to be made good either collectively or individually as the case may be.
    • Students are expected to keep silence in verandah, corridor and classroom. Students are not allowed to remain in the class room during the recess unless allowed.
    • Before the commencement of the assembly, students are not permitted to play in the ground, class rooms and verandah.
    • Staff rooms and the office rooms are places out of bounds for the students.
    • Every student should take care of his/her belongings. Students are responsible for the safe custody of their belongings. The school is not responsible for goods lost. It is not advisable to bring valuable and expensive articles to school.
    • The school insists on the following measures to be observed by the members of staff and all students. Care must be taken to observe the “green rules” in order to maintain clean, green surroundings. That is, school premises must not be littered with disposable tumblers, papers or polythene bags etc. If polythene bags are brought to school, care should be taken not to dispose them of in the school grounds. Minimal use of polythene bags will be appreciated.
    • Students are advised to keep their class room, school buildings and campus as clean as possible, and through leftovers into the dustbins.
    • Students should not leave the school premises during the school hours without the permission of the principal.
    • Unapproved books, wrist watches, magazines are any other objects liable to prove a source of disturbance for the smooth running of the school should not be brought to the school.
    • During the absence of teachers from the class room the student must obey the class monitor appointed to maintain discipline.
    • Students are to address their teachers and all members of the school staff with due respect and politeness. Arrogant and challenging behavior towards teaching or non-teaching staff is forbidden. On their way to and from school students must behave in gentle manner.
    • It is mandatory for all students to speak only in English in the school campus. Serious steps will be taken against those found speaking vernacular in school campus at any time.
    • Students of this school are expected to be courteous in speech and behavior, at all times. They must use polite expressions like “Thank you” “Excuse me”, Sorry, please etc., as and when needed.
    • Inattentiveness, indifference and disrespect towards anybody will be viewed seriously.
    • The management reserves its right to request the parents to withdraw their wards from school if the behavior and conduct of the ward goes against the discipline, culture and ethics of the school.
    • Students should be punctual to school.
    Examination and Promotion
    • The school year begins in June and ends in April. During this period 6 exams and a number of surprise test for each subject will be held to evaluate the progress of the child.
    • To pass in subject 33% marks in each subject should be secure by every child.
    Parents Visit
    • Parents are welcome and are encouraged to come and meet the principal to discuss the matters related to their wards. Visiting time: 9.00 A.M to 10.30 A.M.
    • In case of genuine need, parents may visit the teachers on working days with the permission of the principal.
    • It is mandatory for the parents to meet the principal/teachers whenever they are called to the school to discuss about their ward.
    Certificate Rules
    • Parents should give written application for the school leaving certificate mentioning reason of withdrawal a weak before.
    • Leaving certificate will be denied to those who have not paid the school fees.
    • Character, bonafide and such other certificates can be issued to those who have attended the school regularly.
    • A pupil coming from another school shall not be admitted unless he/she produces a leaving certificate from the previous school along with final examination reports.
    Van Rules & Regulations :
    • Children who do not obey van regulations will not be allowed to use the van after three consecutive warnings from the Principal.
    • Parents must be ready on the specified spot before time and must not, on any account delay the van timings.
    • Parents who decide to pick- up the child from the school must inform the management through letter in advance.
    • Students should not damage the vans seats while travelling. Any damage caused by the children in the van will be fined.
    Attendance:
    • Regular attendance of every student is expected and no student shall absent himself/herself from his/her class without the prior permission.
    • If prior permission could not be obtained for reasons beyond control, an application for leave duly signed by the parent or Guardian should be sent to the [principal at the time of reporting to school
    • If leave availed for more than 3 days on medical ground, a medical certificate to be produced on the date of joining.
    • Permission: If the child has to be permitted during school hours, a permission letter must be sent to the class teacher, in advance. Leave application is a must on his/her return to school
    • It is mandatory for all students to report to school 5 minutes before the school assembly. In case of any unavoidable situation for the delay, the parent should intimate the school over phone/ letter/ personally.
    • Pupils suffering from infections or contagious diseases are not allowed to attend the class and such cases should be reported to the class teacher through the school office.
    Evaluation of Academics:
    • The evaluation in the Report cards will be made on the basis of cumulative records based on the unit test, informal tests and the terminal examinations.
    • Progress Report Cards will be given to the parents periodically during the open day in which scholastics and non – scholastic achievements of the children are discussed with the subject teachers.
    Suggestions to Parents:
    • Good Education is the result of a joint effort of the school and the parents, so full co – operation of the parents is earnestly solicited. If the children complain about school matters, parents are requested to inform the principal of such matters and withhold their judgment until proper investigation is made.
    • Parents are expected to co – operate with the school authorities in maintaining punctuality and discipline by seeing that their children study their lessons, do their home work, project work and submit on time, follow the dress code, and maintain their stationary.
    • Parents are advised to attend the open day regularly and make use of the opportunity to discuss the development and progress of their wards with the class teacher and the subject teacher.
    • Private Tuitions are not encouraged except Mathematics.
    • Occasional reports from the Teachers are made in the school diary. Parents are requested to sign as proof that they have read them.
    • It is mandatory for parents to check the school diary every day after the child has completed his/ her assignments and sign the diary daily without fail.
    • Any child suffering from aliments or allergies, parents are requested to submit the medical report.

    L.K.G 9:00 am to 12:30 pm
    U.K.G: 9: 00 AM to 3:45 PM
    Saturday will be a holiday.
    Class I to Class XII: 9: 00 AM to 3:45 PM
    Saturday: 9: 00 AM to 12: 40 PM
    LIBRARY:
    Tales from Panchtantra, Story books, Encyclopedia, Philosophy, Sports, Adventure, Quiz, Biography, etc….
    School Uniform:
    • Boys: LKG to UKG: Checked shirt (half sleeves) and navy blue shorts.
    Shoes: Black cut shoes with ankle length light blue white stripes socks.
    Class 1 to Class V: Checked shirt (half sleeves) and navy blue shorts.From Class VI to XII: Checked shirt (half sleeves) and navy blue trousers.
    Shoes: Black lace shoes with ankle length navy blue red stripes socks.
    • Girls: LKG to UKG: Checked shirt and navy blue frock (single piece).
    Shoes: Black cut shoes with ankle length light blue white stripes socks.Class I to VIII: Checked shirt and navy blue skirt.
    Class IX – XII: Checked shirt with over coat and navy blue skirt.

    Shoes: Black cut shoes with ankle length navy blue red stripes socks.
    • House Uniform: To be worn on days the class has Games period.
    T – Shirt & pant: Will be provided by the school.
